Description

Description

Lady’s mantle (Alchemilla vulgaris), also called cloak of Freya, is a plant that has evoked admiration for centuries because of its graceful leaves and unassuming beauty. After rain or dew, the velvety leaves catch tiny drops of water in the centre, giving it an almost magical appearance. For this herbal tea, the leaves are carefully harvested and dried to preserve their natural aroma and flavour.

Lady’s mantle tea has a mild, earthy flavour, slightly sweet with a subtle herbal undertone, and is excellent to drink at any time of the day. It is a tea that invites. We harvest our lady’s mantle in Turkey, a country with a long tradition of growing this herb. It is additive-free; a piece of pure nature in your cup. It also contains no caffeine.

In herbal medicine tradition, lady’s mantle is often seen as an herb closely associated with womanhood. For centuries, it has been used in folk remedies around the menstrual cycle, menopause and to support the body at different stages of life. In medieval writings, it was sometimes even called ‘cloak for women’ – a symbolic image referring to protection, softness and inner strength. Although these traditional uses are mainly cultural and historical, they contribute to the special status this herb has acquired.

Whether you consciously choose a natural ritual or simply love gentle, soothing flavours – lady’s mantle tea offers a moment of pure enjoyment, rooted in ancient knowledge and tradition.

This tea is not recommended for pregnant women. Please consult your doctor for more info.
