How the decaffeination process works:

At Thee.be, we use the most modern method to remove the caffeine from the tea. We utilize the CO2 high-pressure method. This takes place in various stages. The caffeine is removed through a very detailed process with very specific conditions (such as pressure, but also temperature, for example) to achieve a refined result of outstanding quality. Only a tiny part of the tea is lost during this process; we keep this loss minimal. The color and flavor of the tea leaves are preserved thanks to CO2. Carbon dioxide is a natural product, a part of the air, and 100% safe. It protects the leaves from oxidation and ensures the preservation of taste and aroma.
