An authentic bamboo matcha whisk, also known as ‘chasen’. It’s a beautiful traditional tool that has been used in the Japanese tea ceremony for centuries. This chasen is crafted from a single piece of black bamboo. Each matcha whisk may vary slightly due to the natural character of the bamboo.

This dark matcha whisk is not compatible with our matcha whisk holders due to its elongated shape.

Maintenance instructions: Before each use, soak in warm water for 60 seconds. After use, rinse thoroughly. Pat the whisk dry with a paper towel and allow it to air dry completely before storing. Inspect the whisk before each use, if there are broken ‘bristles,’ remove them.
